Witch Hiker smallWe're here to help you find your way through the often confusing world of alternative, complementary, ethical, organic and new age living. We are not here to be politically correct, cleanse your aura or sell you a purple kaftan, but rather in association with the print version of The Witchhiker's Guide, we aim to become the single point of reference for ethical and spiritual consumers in Scotland.

We're here to help you find your way through the often confusing world of alternative, complementary, ethical, organic and new age living. We are not here to be politically correct, cleanse your aura or sell you a purple kaftan, but rather in association with the print version of The Witchhiker's Guide, we aim to become the single point of reference for ethical and spiritual consumers in Scotland.

ScotlandAt The Witch Hiker's Guide, you'll find a site fit to burst containing event listings letting you know what's on, where, with who and at what cost. We're also publishing our very own directory of services and businesses such as healing, relaxation, meditation, learning centres, eating out, retail therapy (how could I forget?) and other lifestyle choices broken down by type and by location.

Wherever you are in Scotland, you'll find something to suit you. Or maybe you'll discover something about your area that you didn't know before.

So what's different about The Witch Hiker's Guide? Well, we want to demistify so-called alternative living, and help bring it to as wide an audience as possible. To that end, our reviews are honest and unbiased and our articles and regular columns will help to shed light on therapies, beliefs and other activities. As if that wasn't enough, we want you to submit reviews and articles to The Witchhiker's Guide, and use the forum to help share knowledge with as wide an audience as possible.

So what are the benefits to you? Well, we want you to participate, we want you to contribute. And for those of you who join The Witch Hiker's Guide, we'll be offering regular discounts and special offers in association with our partners. And if not of that is of interest, why not just go to our Maps page and play with the map. Nice, if anything!

We're aiming high and shooting for the moon, and with your help we'll make it even bigger and better than anyone thought was possible!

Witch Hiker largeOh, and if you didn't notice, the little fellow in the bottom left hand corner is The Witchhiker. When you see him next to a review, article, forum posting or some other communication, you'll know that it is an official Witchhiker's Guide communication. You'll also notice that he has really long arms and really long fingers. He wears a hat. Sometimes he's loud, but mainly he's rather quiet and happy, we think...
