The Witch Hiker popped into Grassroots Cafe in Glasgow having not been in for a while and found that they have changed their menu quite a bit. Gone are the little binders with the brown pages and they are replaced by a page of options (some new!) with the usual changing daily specials. We all shared Jeruslem artichoke soup, one of the fantastic burgers, a bean burrito & the new falafel pitta pocket (with all sorts of intruiging things inside including a spicy curry sauce). The food as usual was lovely, still slightly limited dessert options but the staff bent over backwards to accomodate baby witch hiker and we felt very welcome. The relaxed waiting service was wecomed by our table however other diners seemed in more of a hurry and left muttering about the slowness. Relaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax says the witch hiker.
