Seasons Greetings Fellow WitchHikers! The festive season is upon us - how did that happen? I swear it was only Novemeber yesterday... For those of you looking to retreat and have a little time for solitude and reflection why not try the Winter Soltice Celebration at Findhorn from the 10th of December or the Sound Journey at Gather in Glasgow on the 16th. For those after a more active celebration there is the 20th Anniversary New Year Ceilidh at Lendrick Lodge kicking off at 7pm on the 30th of December! See our events page for more info. Then of course there will be those of you who are still in the mood for some seasonal splurging. We have some ethical/organic ideas in the current issue of WHG with fantastic handmade organic products from Lucky Cat Soap and cairnomohr wines, go on treat yourself. We also reviewed 'The Calm' by Gary Lock www.garylock.com which might provide welcome respite for your lugholes over the festivities. Or if you want to really make a difference why not go to oxfam unwrapped and help 'build a bog' for £50 or treat 100 kids to school dinners for £6, wouldn't that be a nice secret santa gift instead of a pair of socks or a box of chocs? Over at WHG HQ we are hard at work on issue 4 and have also updated the website with some more articles and reviews including the December Horoscopes by the lovely Soraya and an article on Christmas Fairies by the magical Fiona Murray.
However you celebrate the festivities, have a good one,
The Witch Hikers
