Content:

Hello Witchhikers,

Welcome to your June update! We are sending this just before Mercury goes retrograde so you have been warned! Batten down the hatches etc etc.

{mosimage}It has been a busy old month at Witch Hiker HQ as we work away getting issue 2 ready for you. We have listened to your suggestions and are road-testing a new Classifieds and Friendships section on the website that will also appear in the next issue of the printed magazine. Submitting your Classifieds will be free until August *(just email us details of your Ad, price, description, and contact details). So if your therapy couch is gathering dust, your chi machine is under the bed, or your bongo drums are in the bog give it a go and see what happens.) Could also be the perfect place for setting up Reiki shares or the meeting of like minds...

If you are in the mood for expanding your mind and your general experience then June is abundant with opportunites! This weekend, on the 16th, you can sample what is on offer at Natural Solutions in Muirhead, Glasgow at another of their Taster therapy days.

For those of you looking to be more 'aware' the Big Tent 2007 Festival of Stewardship is on all weekend in Falkland, Fife. And for those who have wondered what goes on inside the Theosophical Society, the organisation are having on Open day on Sunday 17th, so wonder no more.

{mosimage}If you can take a little time out for yourself in June then the folks at Lendrick are running a Soul Retriever Practitioner Course from the 19th - 24th. If you want to bob and boogie in environmentally aware surroundings to celebrate midsummer then join the Witch Hiker at the Outsider Festival on the 23rd & 24th in Rothiemurchas. Or you can get your hands oily at the Raindrop Technique Aromatherapy Course at Tir na nOg on the 23rd.

And if you attend ALL of those you may end up therapied out, anxious about the environment, theosophising on Soul Work with tinitus from too much headbanging... If that is the case you should maybe try to get back to basics with the Wilderness Survival Skills course at Anamcara, Inverness on the 30th June which will be illuminated by the light of the beautiful fullmoon. Does anyone believe in werewolves...?

Full details on these events and many more can be found on our events calendar. Don't forget to add any events or workshops you have planned for August, September & October so that we can then include them for you in the next issue of the WHG. If you are fond of a freebie then check out our competition page to see what goodies you can snaffle in our latest offers.

That is all for now, it is time to go but don't feel sad, we'll email again next month and if you can't wait that long for Witch Hiker chat then log on to the forum for some cheeky chat. There is currently an interesting thread on lettuce...

Until next time, take it easy,

* From August, sales classifieds will cost £1 without an image, and £1-50 with image. Wanted ads will still be free, and you will be able to post all ads online from August. Sweet!
